Unconditional Expansion
[00:00:00] Probably the single most powerful pointer that I've ever come across is that you absolutely have to give yourself permission to expand for no reason and no purpose. Your expansion has to be unconditional, and the reason that this is so powerful is because it completely flips the script on all of the fear and lack based programming that this world is constantly trying to condition us towards.

[00:00:39] Everything in this world is constantly trying to condition us towards conditional expansion. It's like when I get the money, then I expand. When I get the, the girl or the the husband, then I expand, when I get the job, then I expand. When I complete this mission, then I expand. Everything in this world, is it's conditioning us to project our expansion into the future and to attach worldly conditions to it.

[00:01:15] And as we progress in life
[00:01:19] this carries over even into spirituality, where we're told things like, oh, when I have enlightenment, then I expand. When I reach this state, then I expand. But the problem with this is, is when your expansion is based on anything conditional, if it's based for any reason or purpose whatsoever. That reason or that purpose will always turn into a sticking point.

[00:01:51] It will always turn into a landing point. It will turn into a future mental projection, which will keep you stuck and is always at fear of being compromised or taken away. Because anything that's conditional is inherently impermanent. There is only one thing in existence in creation, which is fully unconditional, and that's God.

[00:02:22] That's the transcendent, that's the immutable, eternal nature of God. And so if your expansion has to be based on any reason, let it be because you are a child of God and God is expansive, all powerful, all loving, all mighty, all flowing, and God is infinite. God is not finite and conditional. The devil, fear is finite, conditional, lack based, worldly based.

[00:03:04] But God, your true nature, your infinite transcendent nature is unconditional. And this is why all of the great masters, whether it's Christ or Buddha or Krishna, or whoever it may be, one of the main pillars of spiritual wisdom is that you have to relinquish attachment to the world and to conditionality.

[00:03:34] It's about relinquishing attachment and not being attached to worldly desires or states or possessions or lust or any conditional based thing. And they point you to the unconditional, the transcendent, the one thing which can never be compromised or limited in any way, which is God, which is the transcendent.

[00:04:02] And this is so, so powerful because
[00:04:13] if you can start to view your life in this way where your expansion and your fulfillment and your self-worth is unconditional, it's not rooted in the world or in thoughts or emotions because thoughts or emotions are also conditional based. But if you can shift your perspective to where you are rooted in the unconditional, the transcendent, the impersonal, God, that is how you become a center of power, which is immutable and which can never be compromised or hijacked or bound to limitation in any way.

[00:05:04] Even if you face limitation within the relative world. When you are rooted in the transcendent and your expansion and fulfillment is based on the the unconditional, you can always flow through any experience. And this is what Christ showed us by dying on the cross. He's showing us that he can go through the most extreme conditions, the most extreme levels
[00:05:33] of physical contraction and agony while being completely unfazed, while transcending it and staying fully rooted and in alignment and in communion with God, with the infinite, with the transcendent, with the immutable, eternal being.

[00:05:55] And you have to make this switch if you are going to live your best life in this world and to live a life which is of the highest potential and the highest accord, everything in this world again, is constantly, it's pushing us towards that conditional fulfillment, that conditional peace, that conditional resolution.

[00:06:26] But as long as you are clinging to any form of outer condition, again, including thoughts, emotions, belief systems, states of being, if you are clinging to something like that, it will always turn into a sticking point. It will always keep you stuck because what will happen is you will find yourself in certain situations where you no longer have that condition.

[00:06:58] Like if your fulfillment or your expansion is based on how much money you have. There's always the possibility of losing your money or there's always a possibility of being in a situation where your money doesn't help you out, or there's a possibility of even, even if you get to quote unquote higher conditions, such as attaching your sense of self and your sense of expansion to things like spiritual ideas or belief systems or things like that.

[00:07:35] Those to can be compromised. There, there can always still come a point where those things can't help you. Tho those, those kinds of mental projections that we're clinging to and have become our kind of symbol of fulfillment our symbol of expansion. Those can always be hijacked or they can be distorted.

[00:08:00] But when you allow yourself to expand for no reason and no purpose, this is what Living Untethered really means. This is if you Michael Singer's book, living Untethered, the Untethered Soul. This is what it means. It means living unconditional because if you are tethered to any type of worldly condition, that will be an anchor, which will keep you stuck, but to live untethered
[00:08:36] is to live from liberation, which is non-attachment, which is for your sense of self and your sense of expansion and your sense of fulfillment to come from that, which is prior to self. From that, which is prior to conditions, which is again, only one thing, which is God, which is the transcendent, primordial ground of existence.

[00:09:06] The creator itself, the primordial base substance of the universe. And that can never be taken away because as long as you are alive in any form, no matter what condition you're in, no matter what's happening in the 3D world. If there is life and there is existence, there is always the primordial ground of life and existence.

[00:09:36] There is always God, and this is again, this is why all the spiritual masters
[00:09:42] point you to not be attached to the world. And again, God is based on expansion, whereas the devil is based on contraction, fear, control, conditions. It's funny how [00:10:00] all of these words, condition control, contraction, constriction, all of them, they start with the root word con. And con means to deceive, to lie.

[00:10:14] It means falsity. That's what the devil and fear based programming and lack based programming is. It's a con, it's a sham. It's a kind of, it's a trick. That's the illusion of Maya. And as long as we're existing within this world of form, everything in the world of form is trying to get us to consent to that root con, and the root con is the attachment to conditionality.

[00:10:51] But the way that you free yourself from Maya, you free yourself from the matrix, from the illusion, from the the, the wheels of samsara, the wheels of karma is by relinquishing attachment to absolutely any condition. You don't need anything or anyone. All you need is God and nothing could ever take that from you.

[00:11:19] That is always available because you are a child of God, and so as you live your life. Allow yourself to expand and expand and expand unconditionally. And the lower mind, the kind of fear-based programming within us will always rebel against it against that, and because the lower mind is hooked up to you, it's hooked up to your own brain and nothing knows you better than your own brain,
[00:11:53] it will always know exactly what to say to you to get you to succumb to contraction, to get you to succumb to attachment and, and to a kind of frozen landing point. But you as a sovereign, infinite being and child of God, you always have the choice. You can always choose whether or not you will succumb to contraction and fear and control, or if you will stay in alignment with the transcendent, infinite nature of God, and that is the unconditional.

[00:12:35] And that is the purpose of life is to live from the transcendent, from the infinite nature, from the unconditional, and then the beautiful thing is, from there it is not about saying that the world doesn't matter or that you know, it's all Maya, it's all illusion, so nothing matters. That itself is a form of landing.

[00:12:58] That's a kind of belief system which freezes you in place, and that's exactly what the devil or the lower mind wants. That's another type of condition. What really happens when you live from this unconditionality, is from the unconditional, from the transcendent level. This is where you access your inner guidance system.

[00:13:22] Your, your, in, your, your connection with God, with infinite intelligence. And your inner guidance system shows up as intuition and inspiration, and your intuition and your inspiration is that which guides you in terms of how to live in the 3D world, in the worldly conditions, in the most expansive and progressive and
[00:13:53] productive ways possible. It's what, again, connects you with infinite intelligence and it's what gives you that guidance in terms of how to respond to life from expansion and creativity rather than reacting to life from contraction and from fear.

[00:14:12] Fear and contraction is the opposite of creativity and expansion.

[00:14:20] And if you, again, if you can learn to let go of these conditional attachments, the, these, these conditions on your expansion. This is how you live untethered. And you take on this kind of quantum cannon power of being. You become like a quantum field that is just walking through life, which is to be in the world, but not of the world.

[00:14:53] It's like you're totally and utterly devoted to the world and to living the best life and towards compassion and love, and productivity and making things better and better. But you're completely and utterly free from attachment, from agenda, from control, from fear. And this is also what the whole thing about falling in love with the process rather than the destination is about.

[00:15:28] And they talk about this in the Bhagavad Gita, It says that you're entitled to the pursuit of the fruit, but not the fruit itself. But then the paradoxical thing is the more that you're non-attached to outcome and you're completely and utterly merged with the journey with the process, that's actually how you reap the fullest fruits.

[00:15:54] That's the beautiful thing. It's like when you're not attached to the fruit and you're just completely and utterly moving from that unconditionality, living untethered. That's how you, you reap the fullest fruits because you're fully present and engaged with life in front of you, and you're able to access your higher infinite nature, which is your intuition and your inspiration, and that's the guidance which God gives you in terms of how to live the highest life possible.

[00:16:32] And that's communion with God. That's what communion with God is all about. It's about living from this transcendent, impersonal, unconditional level.

[00:16:43] And when you can live like this, you can go into any situation with any group of people, any challenge, anything, even as Christ showed, even being nailed to a cross, and be completely unfazed. Be completely free and be completely unbothered because you're not, your, your sense of self and fulfillment is not rooted in the body.

[00:17:15] It's not rooted in conditionality. It's rooted in the impersonal, the infinite, the transcendent, and nothing can ever stop you from making that switch. And the lower mind will try to come in and it will try to say things like, oh, you know, that sounds really hard. Like, I don't think I could do that if I was being nailed to a cross.

[00:17:39] And I mean, that is a very extreme example. You're probably not gonna be, you're not gonna need to be nailed to a, a cross. But what you can do is you can start to show up to your day-to-day situations and your interactions with people and your interactions with your work and with your pets and your children, and your spouse, and your hobbies and everything that you do, and you can live from this unconditional expansion, you can allow yourself to expand and to expand, and to expand and to take on more power, more light,
[00:18:19] more connection to the eternal well of life itself, which is that transcendent infinite nature. And as you live from this, you will find that everything will start to fall into place. The the so-called outer reality will start to bend and reorganize into harmony and coherence with this higher energetic alignment because your energy is no longer being stifled and distorted and compromised by worldly conditions, by by conditional based fulfillment and expansion.

[00:19:09] And as you allow yourself to expand in all of the situations that you would normally contract and freeze around, this is how you actually manifest better conditions. This is how you effortlessly reorganize your life into better and better states. And again, this is how you respond to life from intuition and inspiration, which comes from infinite intelligence rather than reacting to life from fear and lack and contraction. Because when you're reacting to life, that's when you're on the wheel of samsara.

[00:19:51] That's why the word karma means cause and effect when you're flowing from cause and effect that's reacting to life. Cause and effect [00:20:00] is reaction based, but we're not inherently bound to the wheel of samsara. We always have the option to step outside of karma or cause and effect by living from our creative nature.

[00:20:15] Creativity is not cause and effect based. Because it doesn't flow from conditionality, it flows from unconditionality, it flows from the infinite. And when you live from the infinite, this is how you start to unplug from and break those reactive contractive patterns that we find ourselves on. And this is how life is supposed to be.

[00:20:44] God did not design life to be this kind of uphill battle of repeating patterns and strife and struggle and like all of the kind of anguish and pain that we're so used to in this world. The way that life is supposed to be is it's supposed to be endless progression, endless unfoldment, endless expansion.

[00:21:09] And that doesn't mean that there's not challenges. There will always be challenges in life because challenges are the agent of growth. That's what strengthens us and propels us towards more growth and towards attaining to higher and higher and more grounded states of being. But the key is, is that there's a difference between productive challenges, which support growth versus contractive
[00:21:41] and non-productive challenges, which impede growth. And when you're not resisting challenges and when you're not clinging to conditionality and to outer forms of attachment, challenges are really not that bad. Challenges only become like a big issue when we're avoiding them. And when we're in fear and lack and when we're cut off from our connection to God, because then we're cut off from that inner guidance system, which guides us in terms of how to handle the challenges, like the solution to every challenge is always within.

[00:22:26] You always hold the key to unlock any door, and the master key is the infinite. It's the transcendent. The master key is not conditional. It's not like a one single thing. It's the, it's the one single thing which transcends all things, which is simultaneously all things and no things. It's everything and no thing because it's that primordial ground of existence.

[00:22:58] And when you're in touch with that primordial ground of existence, you have access to all the answers and all the knowledge and all the intelligence in the world. But it's paradoxical because when the mind hears that, the mind thinks like, oh, so I'll just be able to sit around and just know whatever I want and I can just
[00:23:21] predict people's birthdays or that kind of thing. And you actually can learn to do that stuff the deeper you go into transcendent states. But that's not really what it's about. That urge itself comes from the, the conditionality and, and from the trying to control, like from this unconditionality, it's not that you know everything in the sense that you just have this big data bank of knowledge.

[00:23:48] What it's really about is that from moment to moment you are just intuitively guided from within and from following the sense of expansion, how to respond and what to say and do and think to handle things in the best way possible. And a lot of times you won't even know necessarily the reason why you're doing something, but you may just do it because it just feels right, because that just feels
[00:24:19] that's just the, the, the, the sense of expansion, the sense of inspiration in that moment, and then that ends up being the perfect thing that ends up being the creative act, which leads to some new unfoldment or some challenge, challenge getting resolved or some sort of old pattern dropping away. Because again, you're stepping out of the wheel of karma.

[00:24:44] You're stepping out of the wheel of samsara. And so you're breaking those patterns. You're transmuting the samskaras, the subconscious fear-based impressions by learning not to succumb to those and not to cling to what your mind tells you, which is always gonna be some form of contraction and fear and freezing or avoidance.

[00:25:06] When you stop succumbing to those primal instinctual urges, that's how you transmute samskaras. You're disconnecting your energy supply from them, and then that's how you integrate and harmonize fragmented energy, frozen energy, disintegrated energy. And then that's how you become more whole. That's the balancing of being and becoming.

[00:25:36] It's knowing that you always have access to the being level, which is the transcendent, the unconditional, but then in a paradoxical way. When you live from that unconditional, from that being level, that's actually how you become more and more. That's how you grow and unfold and take on the highest levels of
[00:26:02] existence and of conditionality, but you do it from a place of freedom and fulfillment and non neediness because if you're living life from neediness or from lack based consciousness, it's insatiable. That will never fulfill you, and you will always be on the hamster wheel. You'll be on the wheel of samsara, and you'll always find yourself being led back to the same challenges and repetitive patterns.

[00:26:34] And again, that's why all of these great masters say these same things. It's the same message. Be non-attached to the world and connect with God. Connect with the transcendent, with the no thing, which is everything. But also no thing. That's how you attain liberation, and that's how you live your best life.

[00:26:59] And then that's how you, again, like the, the, the quote from Jesus. That's how you can be in the world, but not of the world. It's like you're totally involved in the world. You still handle things. You still show up, you're still inspired. You take inspired action. You face challenges. You face fears as they arise.

[00:27:22] But it comes, it comes naturally and organically as a spontaneous unfolding of your infinite nature, and your energy isn't being compromised and distorted by that fear and lack. And to whatever degree that you can do that, you will become more and more, this is how you actually live your best life.

[00:27:49] This is why spirituality and non-duality, it's not about just saying the world doesn't matter or there's no free will or like this or that. It's actually about, it's about liberation. It's about freedom. It's about being fully involved in the illusion, in the world, but from complete freedom, from complete non-attachment, and that's how you
[00:28:15] become like the great masters. That's how you become like Krishna or Jesus or Buddha or whoever your favorite great master is. Like these guys, when they had these attainments and they had this connection to God, they didn't just check out a life or just say nothing matters. They were extremely active.

[00:28:36] They were taking action. They were getting things done. They were following inspiration. Following intuition. And they were transmuting and transforming the world. They, they weren't just checking out of life and becoming kind of apathetic and sitting in a cave or something. That's actually a much lower level of being.

[00:28:57] It's a much higher level of being to be
[00:29:01] involved the world to be taking action and to be fully immersed. That's the highest state. And that's Sahaja Samadhi It's, it's to be rooted in that unconditionality. And that's what the Bible is talking about when it talks about building your house on the solid foundation of stone, of God rather than of sand.

[00:29:29] Like most people are just building sand castles, like when your fulfillment and your action is based on conditionality and it's based on worldly attachment. It's like building a house out of sand because those conditions can always crumble. That rug can always be swept out from under you, but God can never be swept out from under you.

[00:29:53] The unconditional can never leave. The only thing that can make the unconditional [00:30:00] seemingly leave is if you bite that bait. If you bite the bait of the lower mind of the serpent. You bite of the tree of knowledge to bite of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That's conditionality, good and evil is conditionality.

[00:30:19] And when you bite that bait, you seemingly leave God. You seemingly leave unconditionality, and that's when you enter suffering. That's when you enter Maya and you enter the wheel of samsara, and then that's when you're stuck on karmic loops. But that's also why the great Masters teach that ultimately God is always available, you, you're never permanently bound to the conditional.

[00:30:49] It's always consent based. You are always a sovereign infinite being, and it's up to you what you do with your energy and where you are rooted from and where you are living and moving from. And no matter how deep you are in conditionality and in lack or fear-based programming, you can always unplug. You can always revert back to this unconditionality.

[00:31:18] You can restore that connection to God and to the transcendent. And then you can transform your life very, very quickly. That's the transformational power of God, of, of the transcendent, of the infinite. And that will always take care of you. That will always lead again, to the best conditions. But again, from there, you're not attached to it.

[00:31:46] You're not, you don't have any agenda or expectation. You're just flowing with life. You're just responding to life. You're responding to what comes up. But you're not doing it in a way where you're clinging to landings or to agendas or to control or to trying to like manipulate and coerce life your way. And
[00:32:13] yeah, that's very, very powerful. Your expansion has to be for no reason and no purpose. And you can start to really tune into this, like, don't just see this as a kind of nice, coherent idea. This is not just an idea. This is something that you can do in this moment and in every moment. You can start to notice
[00:32:39] little sticking points, which you've consented to. Like, an example of that is like if you're in a social situation and you start to feel contracted because you feel like the other person is like viewing you negatively or you're looking for some form of approval, or you find yourself feeling contracted because you don't have enough money or you don't have the the special person that you want or you don't have, or because you lost a family member or something.

[00:33:10] When you find yourself in those conditional based contractions, you can start to notice that option. You can notice how you're actually consenting to that. That's a belief system. That's an idea which you've attached your energy to and which you're clinging to, but at a moment's notice at will, you can always unplug from that.

[00:33:33] You can always revert back to that unconditional expansion. You can give yourself permission when you're in that social situation and when you find yourself getting contracted because you're seeking approval or because the other person let you down or they said something you don't like. You can catch yourself, you, you, you, you catch yourself clinging to that contraction, and then you just go, oh, wait, I can expand for no reason and no purpose.

[00:34:04] And then your lower mind is gonna come in and it's always gonna tell you whatever reason you're most likely to believe for why you can't or shouldn't expand. But the key is, is just not biting that bait. Don't believe what your mind tells you and just expand anyways. Don't expand for the sake of the mind or for whatever's happening.

[00:34:28] Expand for no reason, for no purpose. For if it's for any purpose, for the purpose of God, for and not because you have to or because God wants you to. Because you are a child of God and the children of God expand unconditionally and that's what it means to be a child of God. And yeah, that can really change your life
[00:34:56] if you start to tune into this, like when you are in those conditional situations and you find yourself contracting, give yourself permission to expand. Just expand for no reason, no purpose. Not because you're looking to get something or because Zane said that's what you're supposed to do, because that would be a reason or a purpose.

[00:35:18] It has to truly, truly be for no reason, for no purpose. You can give yourself permission to expand, to fill a room, to, to, to, to hold power, to, to hold authority. And to, to, to not be needy, to, to not need anything from anyone or anything. You don't need anything because you're connected to God and there is nothing greater than that, and that's always there. And there's no experiential quality to that.

[00:35:53] You don't need to be experiencing bliss or ecstasy or radiant light or anything to be connected to God, because again, that would be a reason or a purpose that would be a type of condition. Like you're always unconditionally connected to God, because that's the primordial ground of being. And so you can always just shift that focus.

[00:36:19] You just shift that focus to the isness, to the presence of the present moment, to the effortless being, to the the screen level rather than the movie level, which includes the movie, but is transcendent to the movie. And that's how you tap into your infinite higher nature. And that's how you can start to expand and expand, completely effortlessly.

[00:36:48] And the more that you give yourself permission to do this, and you stop clinging to these worldly conditional based expansions. This is how you live untethered. It's like you're a quantum, you're just a quantum being, which is just holding infinite potential. It's like you're walking around as like a black hole, but not like in a negative way, in like a, a pure potentiality kind of way.

[00:37:18] It's like just complete freedom, complete connection to the infinite and the divine. And complete immersion in the world, and complete devotion to the journey, and to the process, but with absolutely no agenda, no neediness, no attachment to outcome, none of that, just complete and utter freedom. And that's the highest state, and that is always available to anyone.

[00:37:48] Nothing, no thing can ever separate you from your true unconditional nature and from communing with God. It is always up to you where you put your attention and what sorts of ideas and belief systems that you cling to, but you can let go of all of that at will. Through this, through giving yourself permission to expand for no reason, for no purpose, and to to, to focus on the transcendent, focus on the unconditional.
[00:38:24] The isness, the ground of being, just the pure presence, the present moment itself, which is always there. And that's the thing is it's like the conditionality it's based on past or future, and you never actually get to the past or
[00:38:42] future. It's like that kind of silly line that they say that the past is history, tomorrow's a mystery, but the present's a gift. And that's why they call it the present. Because you never actually get to the past or future.

[00:38:57] And that's also why you never truly enter Maya. You never truly enter the matrix or the illusion. You only seemingly seem to, to the degree to which you're clinging, to falsity, to which you're clinging to conditionality. But you can always switch to the present, you can always switch to focusing on the presence of what is. The isness.

[00:39:23] The, the beingness, the, the, the, the, ground of existence that is always there. That's the screen level. It's like no matter what is happening in the movie, the screen is always there and the movie is inherently conditional, but the screen is inherently unconditional. And the movie is inherently finite and limited and temporary, but the screen is inherently infinite, immutable, eternal.

[00:39:59] [00:40:00] And perfect. It's, it's, it's inherently perfect and whole. The screen can never be fragmented or compromised. And you can always make that switch. You can always switch to the screen level. You can switch to the unconditional level. You can be the pure presence, the pure ground of being itself. And then that's actually how you make the movie better.

[00:40:23] That's how you balance being and becoming is by being fully involved in the movie, but from this being level, from this unconditional level. And then by doing that, that's the causal body. That's which heals and transmutes samskaras. And as you do that, you transmute the movie.
That's when you, you take the perfect action
[00:40:49] which makes the movie better, or you say the perfect things, or you just have creative responses to life, which carries you to higher and higher conditions, to higher and higher states within the movie. That's the paradox. That's how you live the, the best life possible is by not being attached to the conditions of your life.

[00:41:13] But yeah, I hope that's helpful. Really tune into that, give yourself permission to expand for no reason and no purpose. Allow yourself to expand in social situations, in financial situations, in romantic situations, in scary situations, in all of the situations that you find yourself contracting, realize that that's optional.

[00:41:40] You don't have to contract. You don't have to believe what your mind is telling you or to what the fear, to what the primal instinctual urge is telling you. You don't have to succumb to that. You can expand for no reason and no purpose, and that's my message for today, hope you enjoy.
[00:42:03]
